What is this about?Project Summary

Trumpet is an WPF vb.NET Windows application that connects to the Twitter API to download all your latest status posts. The way it does this is by using the new oAuth API provided through Twitter. This is a great advantage since it gives you better control over what programs have access to your account. Also, there is a 350 requests per hour limit, versus the 150 with basic auth.

Other features include:

• Multiple user accounts.
• Twitter list view.
• View and manage lists.
• View mentions timeline.
• Individual user timeline.
• Ability to reply to and repost tweets.

This application also helps you keep your tweets short with a built in link shortener that connects to bit.ly and replaces your long links with nice short ones automatically. You can also upload photos to yFrog or Twitpic automatically!
